The Okura Tokyo received a Five-Star rating for the fourth consecutive year in the 2026 Forbes Travel Guide. Forbes Travel Guide is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and ocean cruises, and The Okura Tokyo was the only grand hotel in Japan with more than 500 guest rooms to have achieved Five-Star status. Okura Fitness & Spa earned a Four-Star rating, while our French fine-dining restaurant Nouvelle Epoque and Japanese fine-dining restaurant Yamazato each received a coveted Four-Star rating.

The Okura Tokyo earned a new Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star award, Nouvelle Epoque French restaurant earned a Five-Star award, Okura Fitness & Spa earned a FourStar award, and Yamazato Japanese restaurant earned a Four-Star award.

At the 2022 Leading Hotels of the World’s Membership Awards, our hotel won the Remarkable Experiences Award for a special lunchtime talk. Held in conjunction with an exhibition at the Okura Museum of Art, this was part of the hotel’s 60th-anniversary celebrations.

Okura Fitness & Spa was voted the ‘Top Spa in Japan’ at the 2022 Crystal Awards, and we also received the ‘Minato City Green Community Development Award’ for our commitment to sustainable urban development.

The Okura Tokyo was recently awarded third place in the ‘best hotels in Japan’ category at the Condé Nast Traveller Awards. This revered travel magazine publishes an annual ranking of hotels and other tourism-related facilities in each country by category, as voted for by more than 125,000 readers from across the United Kingdom.

The Okura Tokyo won the ‘Remarkable Experiences’ Award at the 2022 Leading Hotels of the World’s Membership Awards.
