Seven workshops were held in August 2017 and January 2018. They were organized as “The Workshop Series for Children 2017” where participants expose themselves to the musical instruments and music of different parts of the world. Participants made Wayang shadow puppets to enjoy Indonesian traditional performing arts and experienced a performance of the Indonesian traditional ensemble music Gamelan and dance, as well as the ichigenkin, a zither that has one string.
